The idea is to create a community of up to 50 London based nature lovers who will combine together to form a small privately owned woodland trust to acquire, care for and manage a woodland which is around one hours journey time from central London. In these days of relentless population growth and urbanisation, it would be nice to try and give something back by acquiring the freehold interest of several acres / hectares of private forest woodland …

A small and simple way to organise trips to nature sites in Cambridge, Norfolk and Suffolk. Most will be RSPB reserves but any suggestions are welcome. I'm not going to add events very regularly but I'm happy for others to add events whenever. The benefits of going out together will be hopefully be more enjoyable and sociable trips, with the chance to learn from each other and improve our birding skills!
